Mission Statement
The International Student Association Committee (ISAC) seeks to support international students by designing and promoting activities that will create community among themselves and the larger Calvin community.
In addition, it seeks to promote a greater awareness of and appreciation for international issues and different cultures among staff and students on Calvin's campus.
Region Months
We have decided to commit one month to one region. This means, for one month we'll spotlight one region's cultures and current issues through special events or activities. We will have four geographical regions: Africa, Asia, The Americas and Europe.
We recognize that it is difficult to group so many cultures into only four regions, but we see this as an opportunity for us to really highlight the diversity within these regions.
January will be our World Issues/Social Justice focus month.
January will be also be our launch month for the IF Project - Compassion International.
